Most of these photos were taken back when I was a traveling portrait photographer from 1978- 1990 working in the midwest.
I spent most of my time in small towns in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois and vacationing in Boston and Chicago.
At the time the company I worked for was based in Detroit and I was living in living in Hamtramck.
